So everyone keeps talking about digging up the old SLR (minus the D) and doing some "real" film... so I did... Only I don't think the thing works... Guess we'll see when I take the film in to be developed on Monday...
Yep -- you are nuts!!! For me, that is one of those things that sound more glamorous and nostalgic than it really is, but that's just me. I shouldn't knock it 'cause I haven't tried it! Be sure to let us know is goes!!!!
I definitely do NOT miss carting rolls of film around. I once took my daughter to Disneyland and ended up hauling 12 rolls of film in my purse. Boy, did that thing get heavy!
digital is just plain easier-- you can look at photo right away to see if you got the shot you wanted, process the photo how you want, the list goes on..lol
I still have a film camera around - the only thing I miss are those little plastic film cannisters which I used for storing so much ! Good luck, it will be interesting to see what you get
tx guys... can't say i'm overly hopeful... something seems wrong with the camera and after the 5th or 6th shot on roll the film just starts whirring on... can't figure out why.... i'll take a couple rolls in to be developed on monday and see if there's anything to see :)
Good for you! I have been enjoying all my film experiences lately...only thing is it takes me a long time to get through a roll. That's OK cos it's expensive!
