Not overwhelmingly inspired, but I've been dying to get a decent shot from inside the new subways, and this is the first one that came close... Really want to try this when the subway is a little more empty so you can get the full sense of the endless corridor effect...

You're too funny with the evil eye! I'm always on the new trains and they are always packed when I leave. Can you imagine if I whipped out my 7D and started taking pics?! I think I would be clobbered.
@russianblue yeah... mostly they are packed... which is why i haven't pulled this off before now... today there was some sort of problem and the train was holding at museum station... i think a lot of people must have gotten off and walked...
i love museum station and i've been trying to get a decent photo of the platform to post here... but i haven't gotten one that really works... took one today that wasn't too bad and posted it to flickr... but i'm not sure it really showcases the statues that well, and i will need to have another go at it...
@northy I was going to take pics too at Museum but never want to get off the train in the morning! Love those statues and if you can get the Museum name fading off into the background, that would be a bonus!
Two things I like about this are the taciturn Japanese woman (;I'm guessing she is Japanese because she is taciturn;) and the eye of man on left who is both reading and watching your lens (:sprung).
@peterdegraaff personally - i would not assume she is either Japanese or taciturn... trust me, numero uno rule on the subway is: do not make eye-contact... EVER!!!!!

@northy not like our trains then. I used to love catching train when I was I in Western Australia. People would start talking to you, but then Perth is ever so provincial.
