I know this is a stretch for a household object, but my other two ideas didn't work out today and this was lurking in the corner of one of them...

For "household object" week for the flash-o-red theme set by @olivetreeann - a month of black and white with a spot of red on the 14th... although, this prolly would do just as well for the coming week on exposure ;p

@maggiemae actually, the lights were on and i was using flash at -2... so it still came out quite dark... the white lines are the edges of the panelling which caught the flash dead on... increasing contrast and boosting whites and blacks post processing resulted in this :)
