@monika64 tx Monika... and funny you should ask... my 13 year old son was just looking at it and asking about the editing, so we looked at it pre-edit... and really, it was pretty close... i overexposed by 2 stops and so it came out mostly white and gray... i brightened the whites and boosted the contrast some - but frankly, could have posted without converting to black and white and it wouldn't have looked much different!
@psychographer hmmm... i *think* that because i am shooting raw, all the info is retained and can be tweaked in processing... not sure if it've got this right, but i'm pretty sure i remember reading that it's better to expose to the right (over) than to the left (under) because of this
Bleachers? Lovely high key, very mysterious! I think the true white is key in a shot like this, though, since 365 mats photos with white in the initial view and 'almost white' really shows up.
on the thumbnail i thought bleachers too! Were you laying on your back to get the angle? Fantastic pov! you still managed some nice blacks with the over exposure. Terrific abstract a fav!
