This was actually taken a week ago and was something of an accident at the time... the sun was shining brilliantly and i was using my ND filter for a bit of a long exposure - only i forgot to dial up the stops to max before hitting the shutter button... i found the result kind of eerie, and decided to save for exposure week for flash-o-red...
So for long exposure is there really much difference if you do or don't use an nd filter? Have been thinking about getting one due to the advice I've read about long exposure.
@carolinedreams of course - a huge difference... I just messed up here and forgot to properly use the ND... If you look at my misty haze shot from today in my other album I think that was a 13 second exposure using the ND at about midway (mine is variable - I think I described it wrong above - basically it can gi from something like 2 stops to 8)... I've used it quite a bit...
I totally thought we were following each other, lol. We could have just kept on forever like that and never known the difference:) And this is a rather happy accident! I'm having a few of those myself recently, having zero clue what I'm doing with my ND at the mo:)
