and.... back to your regularly scheduled programming ;p
from Islington subway station - one i do not normally get to... thank you for being so kind about my icy claw from yesterday... for those who commented on "cold", the thing about an ice storm is that it isn't actually all that cold - the temp hovers at the freezing mark (which is exactly the problem)... but it isn't blisteringly cold :)
I always wonder if ladies have it easier stalking people .. :-) ... but hey its all good if this is the result ... great use of lines and PoV .. perfect high key ... and a massive FAV!!
@onie_m tx Leonie :) not your eyes... i "declarified" in lightroom and this makes the light go a bit more diffuse (? is that the word i am looking for?)...
Excellent shot!! Each component is perfectly placed. Either you had amazing timing (right place, right time) or you were very patient (waited an hour for a person dressed in dark colors to walk down the white hall in b/w mode)!
@olivetreeann heheheh.... tx Ann... i only had about 10 minutes... when you turn things black and white, there's usually a way to manage the processing to pull out the contrast... the tricky part is waiting for someone to walk thru the scene on their own... often they travel in clumps ;p
Lovely high key. I like the solitude in this frame. But in a good moment-to-yourself kind of way, rather than a slightly sadder way of being lonely if that makes sense? :)
Lovely shot.
Merry Christmas lady...and to your family :)
Happy Xmas to you and your loved ones :)
Lovely shot.
