tx lots for the continued views, comments and favs... i really haven't had much time to reciprocate of late... too much work and kid stuff happening i'm afraid...
Cool effect! It looks you're either subbing into heaven or a huge snowstorm! Given that it's winter right now, I'll say the latter.

Brilliant, another classic from you - Was that bright bit as shot or done in PS? I love to hear how folks shoot their images, you can learn so much

Excellent Northy...
Very cool high key, and I love the big empty space...!

@isimo tx Rob... this is an elevated train and the track is outside so the bright bit is outside, not a tunnel... i deliberately overexposed in camera... when processing in LR i decreased clarity and boosted contrast... can't recall which preset i used in nik silver fx for the black and white conversion... it was likely high contrast smooth but i couldn't swear to it... then back in LR i boosted exposure quite a bit... if any of that makes any sense at all :)

nice hi-key effect

@bill_fe hi Bill... Yes... I generally do prefer the darkness as well... But between winter whites and being on the high key team for the showdown challenge, I seem to be shooting more high key these days... And I'm shy of ideas for low key - at least ideas that don't feel like I've done them a dozen times... Hopefully my phojo will reappear in short order...

@northy I see. I just took a look at the challenge because I wondered why you were on high key, now I know. I hope your phojo returns soon, love your low key shots.

If it weren't for that guy I might have thought you had simply inverted one of your dark shots. It's great! Fav!
