we went to the Catacombs today... waited almost two hours, but it was worth it... such a fascinating place...

also walked around the Eiffel Tower this morning (in the pouring rain)... got a couple shots i liked, but going back tomorrow for more and will wait to post until then...

Interesting shot! Reminds me of the church i visited earlier in the year with the bone crypt. I have had to move them from my screen saver folder as it's a bit of a shock when they pop up on screen!

That is creepy. Have you ever been to Verdun? They piled all the unidentified bones from the war into one place and put a monument on top to honor them, but they made viewing windows to the inside with orange glass, which seems like fire glowing. I still have that vivid image and I was there in 1969.
