indigo berry *fail* by northy

indigo berry *fail*

this is a *fail* because in the end, i colourized it in photoshop ;p

seriously... i tried to get the colour in camera... really really i did... and tomorrow is purple... what the heck am i gonna do for purple???????
Indigo is one of those things I can't wrap my head around. To me there's blue and purple and shades between, but nothing I am percieving as a separate "indigo" color. The one time I tried a rainbow month I replaced indigo with a B&W day in the middle. You're doing great. Go you!

Indigo is a subtle hue with attitude.

You gave me an idea re blueberries I just bought...haven't used my macro in ages...am sure Jim can sacrifice one of them (I don't eat them, they are 'his') for 'art'. I like the result, even knowing you had to PS in the color. That makes it more fun.

I love the simplicity of this shot, you'd never know you edited it. It's a perfect blueberry; looks delish!

This is a beautiful image! I struggled with indigo and went for my own dark blue shade in the end! Well done getting it in PS.

Never would know. It looks so very blueberry. What was wrong with the color from the camera?

@tigerdreamer I'm not sure... it's like there wasn't any... it had turned black... I think maybe the lighting was too harsh...

My "indigo" eggplant came out black, too, but I had no luck trying to correct it. Need more PS skills! This is fantastic. Fav!

IMHO this works well.
