Come play with me;
Why should you run
Through the shaking tree
As though I'd a gun
To strike you dead?
When all I would do
Is to scratch your head
And let you go.
Love Love Love this, and John @jack4john, that's an exceptionally wonderful piece of poetry! Yates certainly felt about these critters as we all do here, too! And Nova, (back to you) just set a bowl of sunflower seeds on the ground our a table for this little guy! He won't bother the feeder and you'll get many more excellent photos! (He's hungry, too, but it's the sunflower seeds that they adore! And a peanut or two!)
Fantastic clear photo of the squirrel. And so pleased to read Louise and Ken's comments. In future I'll put out some sunflower seeds and standby with my camera.
