Today was very wet so we only ventured outside once for a brief trip to the supermarket. Today's photo is a flower that was given to us by my mother-in-law, not sure what it is called but it's lovely like she is.
We think it is some type of salvia or sage. The flowers are quite velvety and the leaves have a distinctive smell when crushed. We always had some of this in the garden when I was growing up and Mum still grows it. She's given us a plant but ours is a bit neglected, hers is much healthier!
