As NZ has now moved out of level 4 lockdown we have been able to expand our bubble slightly to include my lovely Mum in Law so it was a pleasure to visit her today and have a cuppa with her and a chat as well as take my photo for today in her garden. I was pleased to get a quick photo of this bumblebee.

Oooh so jealous! Desperate to sit and chat with my parents, but not yet here. My Dad will be 90 this weekend too. Glad you are coming out of Lockdown, hopefully we will follow soon. In the meantime, I leave food on the doorstep, ring the bell and briefly chat from down the other end of the garden path.
@casablanca Yes it is nice to be a little more relaxed here. I feel we have been fortunate to be on the other side of the world and had the opportunity to shut our borders and keep the number of infections low. Now we just have to wait and see how it all pans out. Hope your dad has a good birthday on the weekend.
@nzkites Thanks! Yes, a good place to have been. Lovely islands, I only ever spent 10 days in NZ on my way home from working in Australia for 6 months, but I absolutely loved it. Fewer people and oh so beautiful. Wishing you and yours well from the other side of the globe here!
