I have got a busy day today and the weather has turned rather nasty. After sunshine and hot weather, the last few days, today it is pouring with rain.
On my way home from grocery shopping this morning I stopped at the foreshore and spotted this chap setting up for a day of fishing in the rain. He must be keen. I hope he was successful.
As you can see, I didn't get out of the car and took this shot through the windscreen.
Lovely shot and scene. I would not do that even if I am promised a big catch. But then I have never liked fishing because I don't have the patience for it.
This is very nice with the spot of red and the rain drops on the windshield. It would actually be a perfect shot for Flash of Red February which is upon us.
@pusspup Pity it was too wet at The Entrance for photos.
@kjarn@kartia Crikey Kathy you did have a lot of rain. I think we missed most of it. Saw on the weather radar that to the south of us and the north of us had torrential downpours but our little bit in the middle it seemed to be not so heavy.
3.5 inches on your rain gauge is about 88 mm I think. Our rain gauge said we only had about 18 mm, so we got off lightly.
@kjarn I'll get David to start building the ark. We did have huge amounts of rain on occasion last year so he has got plenty of wood just in case. ha ha
Funny the we too are having most unusual weather for this time of the year.
