Yes, you were right we have been in Sydney for three days. Here are clearer pictures of both the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.
We usually only spend a day in Sydney, but this trip was a bus trip with our local U3A. Thirty-four of us were on the trip and we had a fabulous time.
I will post photos when I have had a play at editing them.
We travelled down on Wednesday and after stopping at Blacktown for lunch on the way we spent the afternoon at Old Government House. I will post photos of that over the next couple of days.
On Thursday we spent the morning having a tour of the Opera House and then the afternoon at Sydney Art Gallery.
On Friday we spent the morning at Auburn Botanical Gardens and then began our journey home, stopping at Blacktown again for lunch. We arrived home about 5 pm on Friday.
I grew up in Sydney but haven't lived their since 1975 - it is the harbour and the walk from St James station, art gallery, botanic gardens, opera house, circulay quay that I miss the most.....and the Sydney Harbour ferries going by!
Wow! Your time away sounds wonderful.
Full of photo opportunities & fun & laughter.
We have done & enjoyed all this as we lived in Sydney for 16 years..

@jeneurell I bet you have seen a lot of changes since 1975.
@casablanca I don't think I could live in Sydney, too busy for me on a permanent basis. I love our quiet little bay.
We lived in Melbourne for 6 years and I enjoyed that, but much prefer where we are now.
How long did you live in Sydney for?
