A very quick post tonight because a group of us have been out in Newcastle this afternoon to see a play called Hostage and as the play was quite short (only 75 minutes) we have come home for a cuppa before we go out for dinner this evening.
The play was brilliant. A black comedy about a group of women taken hostage in an empty storeroom inside their workplace - a bank.

10.23 am on a Wednesday morning. Two robbers enter a bank in the Melbourne CBD.
Employees Julie, Marg, Barb, Zoe and Lucy are locked in a rear storage room and unless the robbers get what they want, one of them will be eliminated every hour.

I really wasn't expecting it to be funny as well as dramatic, but it was one of the best plays I have seen at NTC this year.
Off out for dinner now so won't be able to catch up until tomorrow.
