Late posting today as we have been out with the walking group at Anna Bay ending with lunch at Birubi.
The bush trail was a bit rocky in places and you can see in the top two pictures some of the trees are burnt thanks to a 14 year old who deliberately lit the fire earlier this year. Luckily the fire department got there pretty quick and managed to put out the fire before it reached houses.
The bottom two photos are at Birubi where we had lunch and of course I had to include the camels.
This is what winter should be like, it has been 21 degrees c here today and a beautiful day.
I don't think I shall ever understand the pleasure of natural destruction teens seem to have. There was one here who went around and kicked all the heads off the daffodils in the public green areas. Why?! Nice set of pics
Beautiful collage. There is a destructive gene in teenagers. Some attack themselves, others attack everything around them. Fortunately, we grow out of it.
Great collage!
On tonight’s news 25th, there was coverage of a fire near Chico, California where over 71,000 acres have burned since yesterday. A 42 yr. old man set his car afire and pushed it into a dry canyon 🤬. I do know he was arrested but no other details!
Of course, I love the camels! But the whole collage is great. I would like to think that people grow out of it @haskar but I am seeing this type of behavior last well beyond the teen years in this country. One movement here sparked the destruction in all of our major cities during 2020. It was detestable. And so is what this teen did to your bush Babs. How do we make people pay for this so that they learn? I have no answer, but I wish I did!
A fabulous collage and of course my favourites are Birubi! I hope you for some more camels for me Babs ;-)

@ludwigsdiana Throwing stones at cars from bridges has been done here too.
@bjywamer Yes they are part of a tourist attraction.
@illinilass Oh dear that is dreadful. A lot of our bushfires are deliberately lit too.
@kjarn Thanks, a bit cooler today but still nice so far. I think we are in for a wet weekend though.
