Every few weeks a group of us have a get together to try out various different wines. We usually have four whites and four reds to sample, decide on which we think is the best and then we follow that with a barbeque, plus a few more bottles of wine. This is some of our gang. Trying to get everyone together in the photo after a few glasses of wine was like herding cats!!
@joluise@peadar It is fun. I am the responsible adult though and I only usually have one glass of wine as I have to drive home. I'm only there for the food. We all take something along - cheese, crackers, dips, salads, desserts etc. We usually start at about 12 pm and then finish around 6 or 7 pm. At least we don't have to think about dinner!
@steampowered Thanks Paul. It was a good day. There were 15 of us at this barbeque. We take it in turns at having it at a different person's house each time. The person who is host provides the meat for the barbeque and the rest of us take along nibbles, dips, cheese, salads desserts etc. It was one of the chap's birthday too so we doubled up celebrating that too.
