These carved ironbark poles at Robertson in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales are a tribute to the Aboriginal peoples and pioneering families of Wingecarribeeshire.

We are in the Southern Highlands for an few days.

I'm not sure if they would be called totems either Paul so I stuck with ironbark poles!

@winnedreamer Saw the big potato. You wouldn't pick it!! Saw the pie shop too. David has had a Robertson pie, but I'm not a pie person.

@rhos Thanks Ann. The sculpture on the right is of Aboriginal images, the one in the centre are of spirits and animals and the one on the left is of the western influence. They are reconciliation sculptures.
