Bird Brain by onewing

Bird Brain

Yesterday I spotted this noisy miner attacking itself in the wing mirror of a car. It really took a dislike to the reflection in the mirror. They've only got little brains!!
Ha ha, great capture, what a daft bird!

@bugsy Thanks Heather. It wasn't talking, it was SHOUTING I think there were a few rude words in there too. Stupid bugger.

@joluise I think he was having an argument with himself and the saddest thing is he was losing!!!

@gypsy6 They are quite dumb aren't they.

@gamelee Thanks Lee. They really are the dumbest birds. They are Australian native birds from the honey eater family and they squawk at everything. I've even seen one have a go at a sea eagle, just shows how dumb they really are.

@elaine55 Thanks Elaine. Very teritorial aren't they. Lucky I happened to have the camera in my hand at the time.
May 16th, 2013
@onewing they are territorial and moved most of the other birds from my garden.

Great shot, very funny.
May 16th, 2013
@goosemanning He wasn't a happy bird and was having a real go at the reflection in the mirror
May 16th, 2013
@elaine55 They haven't moved the other birds from our garden. They pick a fight, but the kookaburra's, butcher birds and rainbow lorikeets give as much back.
