We went to Blackbutt Reserve in Newcastle today for our photography club outing.
It has been a really beautiful sunny day.
I tried for ages to get a photo of this particular emu who wouldn't stand still. He tried to get hold of my camera at one point!! Finally managed to catch this shot though.
What is it they say "never with children or animals"!!!

I think this chap was playing games with me. He finally did stay still long enough for this shot though. They are not the easiest creatures to get a photo of. They are so inquisitive. No wonder he looks as though he is smug.
