Juicy Fruit

Nicki and I were experimenting yesterday with fruit in water and soda water and this is one of my experiments.

Lime, orange and lemon in a glass jar with soda water.

@joluise Thanks Jo. If you give it a go you will need a wert cloth handy it gets very messy and sticky handling the fruit. Good fun though as you will see from Nic's photo too.

Love the bubbles- really effective. Would a tighter crop have just got rid of the edges of the glass? Or a bigger bowl?!

@angelar I did try cropping it in closer, but it looked as if it was in nothing and didn't look right to me. There were a few of us experimenting with fruit photography at our house because we are doing a workshop on it next month at our photography club. We needed to experiment with a small glass square vase because of the amount of soda water needed for the workshop.

@onewing Valid points! Great to hear you're in a photographic club. I've been in my local version for the last couple of years and I come away with something to think about every time. Wish we did these projects though- sounds useful to have the challenge of a particular photograph.
