This morning I woke up with a splitting headache and so have had a very lazy day so far today. Consequently I haven't taken a photo, so this is a filler which I took quite a while ago.
When I saw Ian's @streats brilliant photo of the 31 July it brought to mind this one (mine's is not so brilliant) and I thought I would post this today.
When I took this photo it reminded me of the very old film starring Jimmy Stewart called Rear Window. Nobody was being murdered in my photo though.
I am slowly beginning to get my head back to where it should be now, thankfully and hopefully by tonight I will be back to normal (well almost) because we are going out tonight with Nicki @winnedreamer to celebrate her birthday.
It does have that 'Rear Window' feel to this photo. Interesting looking into other people's lives. Sorry to hear of your headache, and thank you for the birthday wishes. See you tonight.
I wrote a story along these lines about people living in an apartment block. This is a very similar image to my original thought for the story. Fascinating insight into peoples lives. Love it
Fab shot Babs! When I first saw this, I thought of @streats pic, which was fab too! Love the title and the movie connection. I hope you feel better soon :)
Great shot Babs, thank you for the mention :) This draws you in, invites you to look for a detail or a story in each window. Really cool. Great title too ! Hope the headache has eased now.
@sunraye@mrsbaldy@yaorenliu@joluise@humphreyhippo Thanks. I saw this shot a few times when we went out for meals in Nelson Bay and thought Rear Window but never had my camera with me and then finally one evening decided to take my camera. Took the photo from the car park.
The headache has finally gone now thank you and we had a great night celebrating Nicki's birthday.
@tillycarter@streats@paulaw Thanks. I saw the potential for this shot a few times whenever we went out for meals in Nelson Bay but never had my camera, then I finally took it. Felt a bit like a private investigator standing in the car park photographing the building. People walking past must have wondered what I was doing in a car park in the dark taking photos!!
Your photo Ian brought it all back!!!
The headache finally went and we had a lovely meal out celebrating Nicki's birthday last night.
Great Voyueristic (sp?) shot! I want so badly to figure out what is going on in each of those windows. Shame on me!! See what you did. LOL! Hope your headache has improved! I got up too early and didn't get my nap my energy level is low..
Hope your headache is long gone.
The headache has finally gone now thank you and we had a great night celebrating Nicki's birthday.
Your photo Ian brought it all back!!!

The headache has long gone now, thank heaven. It finally cleared about 4 pm and we had a good night and nice meal celebrating Nicki's birthday.
