Today in Australia the 1st September is the first day of Spring and I just had to put this picture on today.
I took this one a while ago and I know, I know, Deb @gypsy6 and Nic @winnedreamer that you will have seen this picture before, but I couldn't resist using it today to depict the start of Spring. As you both know, I've got a strange brain!!!!
Yay!!! Spring has finally sprung....though it feels like it's been here for a while now :) I must have a strange brain too, cos I think this is perfect lol!
@lesip Thanks for dropping by. Our winter has been very mild this year and spring has started very nicely, beautiful sunshine. It has only rained twice since the beginning of July, so I suspect we could have quite a lot of bush fires this summer, which isn't so good.
@eyesmile Thanks Gena. It is a bit smaller than a slinky. Don't know what it was originally. I asked David if he had a spring and he gave me a box of them which he had in the garage. All shapes and sizes and this one fitted the bill for what I needed. Good job he is a collector of junk isn't it!!!
It's still monsoon season here, temp in the 90's.
