Barrel Race

Yesterday was our photo club monthly outing. This outing was to a rodeo at Tomago. It was a beautiful afternoon, really hot and sunny. I have never been to a rodeo before and it was a fun day.

This is a photo of a barrel race. It was so dusty as you can see from this photo. We all came home covered in dust. Some of us looked as though we had been rolling in the dust we were so grubby, but it was a very enjoyable day, with good company.

If you look at this large, you can see the dust. No wonder we were so grubby!!!

It was such a dusty day, especially when the wind got behind it, but well worth it I really enjoyed it too.

@elaine55 Thanks Elaine. I have never been to a rodeo before, it was very dusty though. When you go make sure you haven't got the wind blowing in your direction. In this shot Nicki, one of our club members, in a blue top, near the orange and green balloon, was on the wrong side of the wind. She was caked in dust by the end of the day and we nearly had to vacuum her!!!
