A group of us went to a restaurant at Shoal Bay for breakfast this morning and to walk off our huge cooked breakfast we went for a walk along the cycle path by the waterfront.
The mirror on the right hand side of this picture is so that cyclists can see round the corner. I didn't manage to get a cyclist in the picture though. Couldn't spend too long on this shot because the rest of our group had wandered off and I had to catch them up.
Don't you hate that, taking a photo and the rest of the group leave you!!! my family does this too me!! Great shot and what a lovely spot to go for a morning walk.
What beautiful weather we are having Babs, lovely blues in the water and the sky. Such a nice place for a walk, I really wish we lived near the sea! Thanks for your comments on my photos I really do appreciate the time and trouble you take,
What a great day for it. I was out getting the books for the woollies cards to send off to the grandkids, they don't fit in any regular envelopes, I think Woolies and Aust. post are in cahoots!
@joluise Thanks Jo. I am always getting left behind, especially when we are off with the walking group. They are used to me lagging behind though. There are a few photographers in some of our group walks so I am not the only one to be put in the naughty corner!!
@elaine55 Thanks Elaine. I love living by the sea. A few of our RAF postings were by the sea and when we retired this is where we decided to stay. Not moving again!!!
@savannah51 Thanks Sharon. It was lovely walking along the beach after breakfast. Had to walk off the bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans , sausage and toast somehow!!!
@paulaw Thanks Paula. Never really noticed that our mirrors had sun visors on them before. Just take it for granted I suppose. Probably needed here though with the glare from the sun.
@custodiabaptista Thanks for dropping by. @eyesmile Thanks Gena, we have lots of cycle paths in this area. We get a lot of tourists and many bring their bikes with them, or they can hire them here too.
@angelat@streats Thanks. It was a lovely morning. I've done very well not having to cook too much this week. Out for lunch on Monday, out for dinner Tuesday, out for breakfast Wednesday and out for dinner tonight (Thursday). I may have to cook dinner tomorrow!!!
