This photo I took of a chap who was a spectator at the Celtic Festival we went to in September.
I usually ask people if I can take their photo but I chickened out on asking this guy. I am sure he would have been fine about it, but I wasn't game to try, just in case.
@steampowered I am sure you are right Paul. Nobody I have asked has said no, but this chap was watching the caber tossing and I really didn't want to disturb him.
@joeyc@yaorenliu@jackie8 I am sure he is very nice and I usually do ask if I can take photos. This chap was with a few of his friends though and he was watching one of the events, so I didn't want to disturb him. His friends may have teased him a bit maybe.
It's. always hard to ask .. Usually I am there on behalf of the local paper, which gives me a good excuse, but in this case I would have taken the same shot!
I totally understand! I would have been too chicken to even take a candid back shot; what if he turned around? But, what a cool image you captured!! Ah, sneaky smart! I'm learning!
@christinehosey@estherhelen@sunraye I usually have no problem asking people if I can take their photo, but this chap was with his friends and I only wanted a photo of his back, not his face, so I thought it best not to ask.
