We arrived home this afternoon after spending Christmas in Victoria with Deb, Simon and the grandchildren and Jason and Damien (Zoe's partner and our grandson).
We have clocked up just over 2700 km over the Christmas period and will need a few days to recover now.
Sorry I haven't been able to catch up too often on 365 while we have been away, but Internet coverage was very poor. Hopefully I will be able to download my photos taken while we were away and share them with you over the next week.
I am looking forward to being able to catch up with all your photos which I have missed over the last couple of weeks. I have managed to comment on a couple of your photos, on occasion, before the Internet connection dropped out. (Rude words from this end I can tell you when that happened on a regular basis). The trouble I had downloading my photos for 365 too you wouldn't believe.
This character greeted us at one of the motels on our way home. He was lying on the bed.
Nicki @winnedreamer was also travelling back from Victoria the same time as David and I and we stayed at the same motel at Holbrook one night on our way home. She had a similar creature in her room too. Maybe it will appear on 365 at some time also.
@angelat Thanks Angela this wasn't the only creature we brought home. We collected a white tail spider in our luggage and spotted it on the bedroom ceiling last night. Needless to say it is now deceased. Never seen one up here, only in Melbourne. Used to get a lot of them when we lived there.
@mcmary Thanks Mary. I do need a vacation after my vacation. I have had a very lazy time since returning home though and have only caught up with absolutely essential things like, washing, shopping, taking photos etc.
@sunraye Thanks Raye. Luckily we spotted the white tail on the ceiling as we got in bed. We don't get them up here in NSW so it was definitely in our baggage. I hope he didn't bring a friend with him. They can give you a very nasty bite.
