A couple of days ago, while I was out on a walk, I collected some leaves and grasses to take photos of.
This photo was created by taping a piece of white paper onto the window. David held the plant in front of the paper, which was backlit with direct sunlight and I took the photo, which with the lighting, made it into a silhouette.
In Photoshop I converted it to black and white played with the contrast and saved it. Then I inverted the colours and flipped it horizontally. Put the two pictures together in layers and saved it as a diptych. Quite pleased with the results. learnt a lot about layers today.
Instant fav Babs, I love this and thanks so much for the description too. Good for you with the layers too. I have done some selective colour in layers now and quite pleased with myself too.
@elaine55@888rachel Thanks so much to both of you and thanks for the fav too. I had fun with this one. It was lovely to just find some time to play without any interruptions.
@angelat Thanks Angela. I got the idea of the silhouette from a magazine I read a while ago and then the idea of the inversion from yuor invert photos. thanks for your contribution to my photo.
