As some of you know I wasn't feeling too good the last couple of days. Got up this morning feeling a bit better, but a rash appeared under my skin and I decided to take an antihistamine tablet in case it was caused by an allergy of some kind.
Of course, once I found the tablets, I took a look at the medicine cupboard and it needed a bit of a clear out. A couple of hours later, all looks neat and tidy and medicines which were out of date back when Noah was a lad have been thrown out.
David decided to look up on Google what the rash could be and came up with Ross River Virus. I hope he doesn't take up hospital visiting ha ha.
You will be pleased to know that the rash has now disappeared but the antihistamines have made me drowsy so I don't know how long I should be operating a computer. Feeling much better tonight though.
I did manage to spend some time catching up on 365 today too.
Wow, this is great. Hard to decide if it is coming out at me, or the other way. clever! Glad to hear you are feeling better. It sounds like you will sleep well tonight!
@iwatts It started out as a photo. Here is the link to the tutorial on how to make a box. I used Gavin Hoey's tutorial on youtube. Here is the link to this effect. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTDQ6EsmT_s
He just used one picture for the back section of the box but I changed that a bit in this shot. I took a photo of the black and white paper I used in other photos cropped it to a 4 inch square and then used twirl in photoshop. I then flipped it vertically and horizontally and made 4 squares then made a new blank file and pasted the 4 squares into that which became the back section and cropped it to a square again. The rest is the same as the tutorial apart from the canvas size and I made it 200 percent instead of 150 percent. Hope all that is clear, if not get back to me and I will try and help again. The aim of this was for me to learn about layers in Photoshop. I think I have got it figured now.
@888rachel Thanks Rachel,. this nearly turned me cross eyed making it. Feeling much better tonight and the rash has gone too. Bit dopey with antihistamines, but nothing different there ha ha.
Wow, such a fun and interesting shot! The perspective is constantly confusing me, I'm not sure which way it is coming from! Haha, and glad to hear your feeling better :)
Love this...kind of an optical illusion. Makes a great photo! Sorry about your not feeling well....and the itching. At first I was afraid you were going to say it was shingles...glad to hear it was only minor.
You sound exactly like me Babs, I can be so easily distracted by things....I go to get something out of a cupboard & end up cleaning the whole kitchen! Glad your rash has gone but take care. Great strong abstract!
Neat capture and great story! Be careful of trees and things you don't know! Hehe! Wish you were nearby to teach me about layers....tried one time and felt out of my depth!

We have had medical appointments in Newcastle today so stil behind with 365.
Hope this picture didn't send you cross eyed. I had fun putting it together. Sent me a bit cross eyed while doing it, but I put that down to medication.
