I have frantically been trying to catch up on your photos today and if I haven't got to yours yet, I promise I will try.
Thanks so much for all your lovely comments on my photos over the last few days. I am on catch up at the moment.
We have just spent a couple of days in Sydney and it has poured with rain. I am beginning to get webbed feet. It is so nice to be home again. I know now why I live at Nelson Bay and not in a city. Lovely to visit Sydney though and had a great time.
This is another photo from the Vivid Festival in Sydney. Haven't had time to take any photos today because of the dreadful weather. Winter has hit with a bang.
Gorgeous Babs. Please send the rain our way, today was lovely, still wearing shorts on my early morning run and throughout the day, no hint of winter as yet . :-)
@hermann You are welcome to some of our rain. Winter only hit on Wednesday and we have had 100 mm rain (according to our rain gauge) in the last 2 days.
@creampuff We are not used to rain like this. It is winter though and the good thing about winter in Australia is that it doesn't happen every day. ha ha.
Didn't get to see vivid but this shot wraps it up so well! A truly gorgeous shot! I second the winter thing as well, as soon as as it hit winter so did the rain and cold weather! x
I love the affect they have given the opera house really interesting. Looking forward to seeing it next year went we come over for a bit of a walkabout in Oz.
@ethelperry Thanks Ethel. It was fantastic to see. The light show starts at 6 pm. We only got to see some of the projections on the buildings though as rain stopped play so to speak. The different patterns and images are fantastic.
@onewing We are not sure what time of year, most likely September'ish which I think is your spring. Such a big place and so much to see we need to start planning a route !
