Clutching at straws

I have only ever posted one photo of straws in my time on 365 and after seeing Peter’s @pcoulson recent brilliant straw photos, I set myself the challenge of coming up with an interesting straw photo too. Sadly though, I found myself clutching at straws to try and come up with a creative shot today.

They do look a bit like magic wands don't they Ruth. Thought I'd try them out after I read that, but they don't work. Either that or I'm not very good at magic. Do you think I could get my money back. ha ha. It is a bit like the crystal ball that I got, that doesn't work either. The future just looked cloudy.
They may look posh straws Peter, but they are only made of paper and they are black and white, so not all that classy really.
