Still Winter

Only a few more days until the end of winter and pretty soon we probably won't need to light our wood burner fire again for another 9 months. I thought I would post a picture of the cosy fire to remind me of winter here in Australia.

Last night we were out at the photo club and it was lovely to come home to a warm house and cosy fire on a very wet and chilly night. I think this has been the wettest winter for years.

Thanks everyone for your comments and favs. I was going to have a day at home today, but we are going to the cinema this afternoon to see the movie The Hundred foot Journey. All planning is flexible. Had a great night last night out with friends and a lovely meal too. I am doing so well this week at not having to cook dinner. Out on Sunday too. It's a hard life.
Last night was the first night we didn't have to light our fire since the beginning of winter. Hopefully Spring is just around the corner, Still raining though. Ugh.
