Friday people day again and you will notice that the beards are back.
I am posting a bit early again today because we are off to the cinema this afternoon. I was planning a day at home, but as the saying goes 'all planning is flexible'
I was taking photos in Maitland recently on a very wet day and this chap walked up to me and started chatting. I think he was a little bit lonely, so I had a lovely chat to him and then asked if I could take his photo.
He was such a cheerful chap on a very wet and cold day.
@karlow75 Thanks Kane, had a lovely time at the cinema. Don't go too often so it was good. Very windy tonight though and you could hear the wind blowing the roof of the cinema.
@hermann Thanks Sally, he was a lovely chap. He came up to me while I was taking a photo of one of the buildings in Maitland and asked me all about it, we got into a lovely conversation and I think it cheered him up when I asked if I could take his photo. I said I loved taking photos of men with beards as they looked so interesting. I think that is why I got the lovely toothy grin. ha ha.
Just trying to catch up a little..and had to see your Friday people shot! Just love them and this one is not a disappointment! Great one Babs. I admire how you not only take great shots but find such willing models!!! FAV
@april16@kathiecb@flyrobin@wanabe@thistle@annied@peadar@eyesmile@jackie8 Thanks so much. I hope I cheered up his day. I don't think he was actually homeless, but I don't think he was far from it. I think he just wanted to chat to someone and was probably a bit lonely. It was such a wet day too. When he had moved on David appeared again as he had been taking photos in a different street and he said "Who's your friend". Then said "We aren't taking him home are we". That is because I always end up talking to rather off beat people. ha ha.
