On Sunday we had a very multicultural day and spent the morning at the Italian Fair and the afternoon at the Chinese Festival.
It isn't easy getting photos as these kind of events because there are thousands of people getting in the way of your potential shots, so I am putting together a collage today and tomorrow of some of the things I saw at the Chinese Festival. Not the best pictures in the world but as a collage I hope you can see some of the atmosphere of the day.
If I haven't thanked you individually for your lovely comments on my photos over the last few days, I apologise, I say thank you so much now.
We are pretty busy at the moment, as we are in the process of putting together our photo club annual exhibition and as you can imagine there is a lot of work to be done for the 2 day event.
@gigiflower Thanks Sam. It was difficult trying to get shots without people in the background, but I managed when I figured that you had to stand on most of them, ha ha.
@scarybird ha ha. He does look a bit like Tommy Cooper doesn't he. This chap was the Chinese fortune teller. People spent about 2 minutes each having their fortunes told so not much of a future for them ha ha. I think it was free, so I suppose you get what you pay for,
@golftragic@bkbinthecity@darthkitty Thanks so much. I took lots of photos, but difficult with so many people around. It was a popular festival. So I decided to target shots which I thought I could put together in a collage and have luckily got two collages from the day.
