Thank you so much for your comments and favs for my Missed the Eclipse photo yesterday. I think it turned out well in the end by not getting a photo of the eclipse because I have spotted the photo is on the PP. Thanks again.
Friday people day again and today's picture was taken in Newcastle last weekend.
As we were walking by, this chap parked at the side of the road in his tuk tuk along with his wife and his son. I asked him if I could take a photo of it and he obligingly agreed to pose for me wearing his Thai jacket. He told me that he bought the tuk tuk a few years ago and restored it to its original state. Definitely a labour of love.
I have got a busy weekend because it is our Photo Club's annual photo exhibition this Saturday and Sunday, so won't be able to catch up again until Monday.
@thistle@karlow75@tomtom@wordpixman@lilminimonka@girlie@pittcj17@kwind@chimfa@ceilidh@scarybird@terryliv Thanks everyone, sorry for the group reply only we have an early start today doing the last minute set up for the exhibition. Opens at 10 am and we have to be down there at 8 am. The room we have for the exhibition had something going on in there last night, so we have 2 hours to get everything up and running. Going to be a long day.
Well that's cute..........never heard of a tuk tuk...is this for his private use or does he take people for rides like a taxi! Very cute...kind of like a golf cart I guess!
@eyesmile This chap has restored it for his own private use, but originally it was a taxi in Thailand. They are the regular means of taxi transport in Asian countries.
