This triptych is made up of three of the images projected onto Old Parliament House as part of the Enlighten Festival in Canberra.
For our overseas 365ers the bottom image is of Julie Bishop who is our Foreign Minister and Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party, Tony Abbott, our Prime Minister and Joe Hockey our Treasurer.
That is brilliant Babs, I remember when they did the same thing to the exhibition building in Melbourne, years and years ago, it is so effective. and you have captured it fantastically.
Three fabulous images in lovely focus and colour Babs, love the work of the artist's, very creative and full of historical irreverence is the bottom one an act of treason:)
@ethelperry Not got time to reply in full at the moment, hope the link helps. http://enlightencanberra.com.au/
The light shows etc are all free but there are paid events too. A fabulous week of entertainment.
@onewing Many, many thanks, Babs. It is very ind of you to send me the link to the festival especially when you are so busy traveling and enjoying yourself.
@eyesmile This triptych was taken in Canberra, the Capital of Australia and we are now in Wangaratta in Victoria for the night. Going on to Geelong tomorrow for a couple of days and then on to Deb's at the other side of Victoria.
@sioux Thanks Sue. They have just had the White Night Festival in Melbourne I believe, they also have the Vivid Festival in Sydney, but the Enlighten in Canberra was much better than the Vivid.
@happypat Thanks Pat, Sorry I won't be in touch much at the moment. A lot of time on the road and sightseeing too. Will be in Geelong tomorrow for a few days and then on to Debs for 5 days.
Great photos Babs, glad you enjoyed it, I wasn't sure how it compares to Vivid as I have never been there, I would love to get there one year though. Happy travels!!
@cathy366 Thanks Cathy. I think the Enlighten compares very well with Vivid. Sydney gets very crowded. I preferred Enlighten. Canberra isn't as busy as Sydney.
