What a difference a day makes. by onewing

What a difference a day makes.

At last we have sun again. I was beginning to get vitamin d deficiency.

Back to shorts and tee shorts again today, such a lovely day with blue skies - 27 degrees C (80 f).

This is the same resort, near to my house, which was the subject of yesterday's photo.

As you can see the umbrellas are open, but still nobody in the pool. Perhaps it was a bit early in the day. Plus also because it is late autumn I don't think there are many visitors.

It was lovely walking along the beach in the sunshine.
Love the beautiful blue skies. I am a bit envious of the warm weather too.

How wonderful our days have been in reverse -- a sunny day yesterday and today wet and dreary !

Much happier shot Babs. Still raining here and the forecast is rain and wind. Never mind I shall just look at this picture and pretend!

But can not compete with your temperatures -- still in woollies !!!!

I like seeing these two shots in sequence, the umbrellas are in shut/open motion.

Love the crisp colours Babs, beautiful warm weather here as well, maybe frosts on the way soon :)

This looks so inviting. I think the pool water may be a little cold for me. Every time the weather temp dips, the water does too! We are in for 28 degrees tomorrow too.

So much cheer here...the stripy brollies look so perky....it lifts the whole feel of the place.
May 5th, 2015
Just waiting for the masses to arrive. Love the brollies.

Quite the picturesque scene!

@karlow75 Thanks Kane, but don't be to envious it probably won't last. Although having lived in Melbourne for 6 years it doesn't get quite as cold up here.
May 6th, 2015
@beryl @thistle Thanks ladies. I seem to remember that our autumn weather in May is generally warmer than your spring in May. :)
May 6th, 2015
@yaorenliu Thanks the difference between the two days was amazing. So nice to see the sun again.
May 6th, 2015
@pcoulson Thanks Peter. I agree, I definitely made the right move. Have only been back to the UK once and it was a bit of a shock.

@dide @annied @hermann @888rachel @happypat @salza @bkbinthecity @beachdog @pusspup @cruiser @seattlite @creampuff @mittens @gosia @mrsrcg @dolphin @quietpurplehaze @thimblelady @elsbells @gamelee @jennywren @365projectorgchristinewebb @pippie @slash Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. Sunny again today. So nice after our two terrible storms lately. For my friends in the UK I will gladly send you some of the sunshine. First I have to find a fan big enough to blow it across the ocean. I remember Spring in the UK and it was always cold.

Ahhhhhh...my kind of day. I feel the same way about the sunshine!! Gotta have my Vit. D. That's the main reason we head south in the winter!
May 6th, 2015
It looks beautiful in color, too! Wonderful capture. Sad that no one is in the pool!
May 6th, 2015
I reckon most of the UK must have vitamin D deficiency! Looks lovely there in the sunshine.
May 6th, 2015
I'd love to stay here. Bet it's expensive. Terrific shot with all the grey sand blues.
May 6th, 2015
I love the umbrellas!
