Now the new
I am posting a bit early today as I have got rather a lot happening here at the moment.
After posting some of the old buildings in Newcastle for the last couple of days, I thought I would now show some of the new as well.
I just loved the lines and shapes on this high rise in the centre of Newcastle.
I thought I would convert it to b&w and also give it a bit of the etsooi treatment. Hope you like the results.
Thanks everyone who commented on my photos over the last couple of days, I really appreciate it. I will catch up on your pictures when I get chance.

I like your processing -- a strong contrast for the series of three you've done.

The B/W edit echo's the sombre , severe and angular design of these buildings --and is the perfect choice Babs . Great pov , clarity and edit So different from the softer and more serine designs of buildings in your other shots !

Its such a shame that the newer building lack character now-adays.
I suppose its functionality rather than beauty.
