I am getting good at this one handed photography with my phone and one handed processing too.
I had an appointment with my GP today to take the notes from the hospital and I noticed that there are Aboriginal artworks on the wall in the medical centre too so I thought I would carry on from yesterdays shot.
I will be probably be putting fillers on 365 until I am able to hold a camera again. A bit immobilized at the moment. Hopefully once the swelling goes down and the surgery is over my wrist should repair quickly.
I will be a bit limited in commenting on your photos until I am up and running again. Only able to type with one finger at the moment and it is slow going.
Got a pre op appointment on Friday at the hospital to see the anaesthetist and possibly surgery Saturday or Sunday.
Interesting capture Babs. I like these Aboriginal works. Don't wear yourself out typing. If you like something just hit the fav button!! We all understand that typing is difficult at the moment.
Babs! Bless your heart!!! There's a line from the movie St Elmo's Fire that I've always loved. Pretty sure it was Rob Lowe. He said "It ain't a party til something gets broken." I don't think he meant body parts, tho!
Keep us posted on how you're doing. Especially that one finger! :-)
Super image full of wonderful patterns and tones Babs, We love the Aboriginal art its so colourful and the methods they use to produce it is brilliant, we have a few examples at home:)
Fantastic artwork shot for one hand! I had a few months in 2013 after I was hit by a truck that I wasn't able to hold my heavy camera- so used my phone. Don't worry about commenting- rest and help your wrist heal! Will be thinking of you!
Love this aboriginal art. We have manages to get one piece from our travels. Do take it easy Babs. It will heal quicker in the long run if you don't try to do much ! Good luck with all the hospital visits
A new unexpected slant on the days photo.....my photographic journey through the surgeries & hospitals of Southern Australia! Just been reading about the bush fires in my book.....so much I learned about bush fires!
You do not need to comment - we all understand. You are doing great with one finger though, especially taking photos even with a phone camera. I have trouble with 2 hands with those!! :-)
Keep us posted on how you're doing. Especially that one finger! :-)
