We have been in Newcastle all day today as David had an endodontic appointment. It has bucketed down with rain all day too, so no opportunity for photos.
As it is my Friday people day today I thought I would take this quick photo of the lady sitting opposite us in the waiting room and use it for my shot for the day.
She looked very relaxed considering she was waiting to go in to see the dentist.
I have never heard the word Endondontric before........must Google ! Did this lady hear your shutter......you were brave! She looks engrossed in her book !
@bugsy Thanks Heather. The wrist is healing. Have to wear the splint until the end of September when I go back to the hospital. Then will get an update.
@karlow75 Thanks Kane. They can afford a fancy office. The cost of endodontic treatment makes your eyes water. This was the last of 3 appointments for David for root canal treatment.
@happypat@kwiksilver Thanks. Endodontics is for root canal treatment and this was the last of three treatments for David. He is glad it is all over, but he said the doctor was fantastic and the only pain he had was on his wallet, ha ha.
Not sure if she heard the shutter Pat. I suppose she did, but David and I were talking about how to turn off the sound of the shutter when taking photos on a smart phone, so she could have heard the conversation and not known I was taking her photo at the same time.
As a retired dental assistant I should say it's never as scary as we think it's going to be but there's just something about sitting there waiting that makes us all a little nervous I think. Nice sneaky shot Babs.
She is deep into her book...did you notice what she was reading. I love people watching...took quite a few people shots while waiting for Old Faithful to blow in Yellowstone. Got some interesting ones...I may make a collage of them....so much to do now that we are home! Good to be home though.
