Here is another shot for any motorbike enthusiasts. I saw this in the shopping centre when we were on our way home from Maitland a few weeks ago. I took the photo with my phone and then promptly forgot about it until today.
I Googled it to see what model of Indian this motorcycle was and I also discovered that you could be the proud owner of one for around $35,000 Australian.
@dide@gigiflower@happysnaps@thistle@terryliv@hermann@merrelyn@cruiser Thanks everyone. I am sure the owners of this bike aren't locals as this particular suburb has a reputation for things disappearing from the car park. I hope they got out in one piece. ha ha.
Yes Terry I have seen the movie, fabulous.
A super looking bike and those beautiful leather panniers and all that chrome ! But must admit I would prefer the comfort of a car for the price (showing my age !! lol )
Great shot of this superb looking bike. Showed to to hubby who koved it and previous one too. Our brother in law had an old one of these many moons ago.
Oh Babs...has Maggiemae seen this? Her husbands father was the subject of a great classic movie "The Worlds Fastest Indian"....What a beautiful machine. Great shot!
@judithg just seen it and am now showing it to hubby - @eyesmile@happypat ! We were invited guests at the Launch of the Indians into Australia! Wow she's a beauty! The owner of this bike will be so proud!
@judithg@happypat@eyesmile Thanks and yes I passed on a message to Maggiemae @maggiemae and she has seen it.
I am sure the owner of this would be so proud Maggiemae. We didn't get to see who owned it though as we were just on our way back to our car.
@terryliv I agree - not a motorcycle movie per se, but a more of a great, great story. And portrayed very eloquently by Anthony Hopkins. Do yourself a favor if you haven't seen this movie and view it.
