I am posting a bit early tonight because we are out again this evening. It has been rather a busy week socially.
I saw this lady at the railway station in Dunedin. She was very dressed up and I just loved her hat and shawl. I think she was rather surprised that I asked if I could take her photo.
Haven't been able to catch up on 365 today as I have just finished my photo book of 365 photos from last year and it has been uploading for the last few hours. Look forward to seeing the finished product.
Lovely capture Babs nice lady full of colour and interest, I struggle to approach strangers and ask to take their photograph you seam to thrive on it:)
So very elegant, the shawl is gorgeous. Well done on the completion of your 365 photo book Babs. I have yet to commence my albums from 2015, but as you know, I have a lot on my plate at the moment :)
@888rachel Thanks Rachel. She did look lovely.
Pleased with my new photobook. I got an email yesterday not long after I uploaded it and was told that it had just been printed and I could check out the link and see what it looks like online, the same way as I sent the link from last years book to you.
@hermann Thanks Sally. Can't wait to see the book. I can look at a preview of it online.
You are a bit slow with your book aren't you, can't think what you are doing with your time ha ha.
@pcoulson@mbmomentsintime@merrelyn@shirleybankfarm Give it a go at asking people if you can take their photo I think you will be surprised.
I guess I am the right age group to be able to get away with it though with both male and females. I just say "You look fantastic can I take your photo" and then usually ask them something about why I want to take their photo. As in this case the outfit the lady was wearing.
With an opening line like telling someone they look fantastic, they don't very often say No.

If I think I'll have any difficulty, I'll remember this opening line, Babs!!!
