Relaxed Pigeon by onewing

Relaxed Pigeon

I have had a rather relaxed day today too, so I thought I would post a photo of this relaxed pigeon which I took when we were in Sydney recently.

He couldn't even be bothered to stand up when I took a photo of him even though I was standing right next to him.

I don't get too many relaxing days recently so today has been really nice.

The youth of today always sloutching about, Lots of lovely feather detail, nice depth of field and composition Babs:)

Very! What amazing details you've caught in his feathers.

It wouldn't be feeling relaxed if I got near it. They cause me so much hassle with me bird feeders.

He certainly looks relaxed, but then again I find all our pigeons/doves are really lazy and don't frighten easily when they are stuffing their beaks!!

You probably seemed very harmless. He looks as if he has had a rough night. Pity the more attractive birds are not as relaxed.

I think they've got used to humans and just wanted to be like alone

@pcoulson @yaorenliu @creampuff @john39 @gamelee @susiemc @lesip @merrelyn @mittens @salza @taffy @ladymagpie @craftymeg @kelly2 @seattlite @gilbertwood @snowy @dianeburns @loweygrace Thanks. He was sitting outside a café next to Central Station, so I think he had just eaten a bit too much lunch.
We only get crested pigeons near where I live, not this type at all, and the crested pigeons are really at the bottom of the pecking order, everything chases them. This chap has learned to survive in the city, so I suppose nothing scares him.

@hermann @cruiser @saulgoode @kategoring Thanks, I had a lovey play day yesterday. I did some photography and played with photoshop amongst other things. I will post my photos later next week. They were photos I had ideas for a while ago so it was lovely to play and put the ideas into action.
Gardening today and out to Kurri Kurri tomorrow.
