Head Art

A couple of days ago I posted street art and then yesterday came face art and today is head art.

I saw this chap sitting by the breakwater and I had to ask if I could take a photo of his head. He was very pleased to let me take a couple of photos and told me that having his head tattooed hurt like hell.

He also told me that he has to shave his head every two weeks.

I suppose if he gets fed up of the tattoos he can always grow his hair and you would not even know that the spider and web were there.
Oh dear. I can't imagine having that done. Well spotted.

Ha ha --I hope he doesn't trap too many flies in the web !! As you say he can always grow his hair to hide the masterpiece !! Well spotted Babs and brave of you to ask ,but I suppose if you have something like this done , you are proud to show it off !!

Very brave of him to have it done and brave of you to ask to take the photos Babs, very interesting image, but begs the question why have your head tattooed and why have a big spider and web done, its not my cup of tea:)

youre a brave lady asking all these strangers for photos:) wonderful shots. fav for bravery too!
April 28th, 2016
Hat's off to you Babs for asking permission to photograph these people. I'm way to conservative.
April 28th, 2016
Very interesting choice of tattoo, I hope he doesn't get fed up with it when he loses his hair!
April 28th, 2016
This is so cool. Great shot!
April 28th, 2016

Strange and interestiing for me: I did not mind the face tattoos but I find this rather creepy.
April 28th, 2016
You're very brave to ask, well captured
April 28th, 2016
Incredible art and well capture. Obvious alright if you're bald.
April 28th, 2016
I almost can't look at that :( but really well seen.

I think you are very brave to ask to take his shot. It's an interesting tattoo, but I wonder what his mom said when he got it. :D
April 28th, 2016
What a weird thing to have done but brilliantly captured.
April 28th, 2016
Why did he do it?Well done for capturing it. At least the spider kept still.
April 28th, 2016
Wow... great of him to let you take the pics and brave of you to ask!
April 28th, 2016
Wow...... how cool of you to approach him and ask for a photo!
April 28th, 2016
Great shots, well done for asking to take photos, although those tattoos give me the creeps!,
April 28th, 2016
Now why ....... Brave of you.
April 28th, 2016
Wow that would hurt! You are so brave!
April 29th, 2016
@busylady Me neither Judith. I got a headache just looking at it.
April 29th, 2016
@beryl Thanks Beryl, he was quite willing to pose for me.
April 29th, 2016
@yaorenliu me too.
April 29th, 2016
@hermann If it were real Sal it would have been either sprayed with Mortein or hit with a brick. :)
April 29th, 2016
@365projectorgchristinewebb @happysnaps Thanks, he did say it was incredibly painful. Must have seemed like a good idea at the time. ha ha.
April 29th, 2016
@inthecloud5 @merrelyn If he gets fed up of it when he goes bald at least he can wear a beanie.
April 29th, 2016
April 29th, 2016
@quietpurplehaze At least he can cover it up with his hair at the moment and if he goes bald he can wear a beanie, but I think I would spray it with Mortein and kill it off all together, ha ha,
April 29th, 2016
@ladymagpie @maskerade @susiemc @paulmann Thanks, he probably thought it was a good idea at the time. What will he look like when he is 60.
April 29th, 2016
@maree_sanderson @pusspup @deborah63 @mittens @carolmw @novab @kwind @vera365 Thanks everyone. As I said yesterday about the face art photo I am probably the right age to be able to get away with walking up to strangers and asking for their photo. All you have to say for starters is "You look fantastic can I take your photo" and most people, with a line like that, aren't going to say "No" are they. ha ha. From there on I just chat to them and ask questions about them and they are willing to chat.
Having said that though I guess that if David walked up to a person and said the same thing he would probably get himself arrested. ha ha. I guess you just have to be the right sex and age to get away with it.
April 29th, 2016
@pcoulson Thanks Peter I guess it hasn't inspired you enough to run off to the tattoo parlour to have your head shaved and tattooed then. ha ha.
April 29th, 2016
Oh my!
April 29th, 2016
Oh my. That is certainly unusual.
April 29th, 2016
Wow, I bet that would have hurt getting that too.
April 29th, 2016
@onewing Not at all Babs not one for defacing my perfect body its had just one almost careful owner, lol:)
April 29th, 2016
YuK!!
April 30th, 2016
Wow Babs, you're game. It's a good shot, even though I intensely dislike tattoos, unless they're the sort that can be washed off.
April 30th, 2016
I don't really understand the need for tattoos, but these are certainly eye catching.
April 30th, 2016
Pam
