It has been another busy day here, so haven't had chance to catch up much today.
It was interesting to see this landing craft moored at the marina in Nelson Bay. Don't know if it was here for repairs or just passing through.
It is called Wandi II and its home port is Cairns so it is a long way from home.
PS A landing craft is a boat that was used during the war for carrying troops and heavy equipment such as tanks etc. What this craft is doing in Nelson Bay I have no idea, but maybe it is delivering a crippled boat to the boat repair yard at the marina. Either that, or we may have been invaded. ha ha.
