As today is my regular people day and also Remembrance Day, I thought I would make a collage in memory of all the fallen during wars past and present.

On Sunday, our village will remember those lost in war. Veterans and standard bearers will bring their colours, place them in the nave for one and all to see. Afterwards a wreath will be placed on the War Memorial in the village square, speeches will be delivered and afterwards we will attend the aperitif before the Anciens Combattants have lunch.

A fitting tribute, finely honed, to honour those who gave the most they could possibly lose.
