I have taken a photo of this particular piece of street art before, but there have always been cars in front of it. This is the first time that I have been able to see it in its full glory.
This used to be a car park, but it is blocked off now. I hope this doesn't mean that yet another building is going to be demolished in Newcastle.
The artist here is called Askew One and he is a New Zealand born street artist.
This piece of art was created for the Hit the Bricks festival.

Im watching the last Supercars V8s race in Sydney on TV...did you know that are moving the venue to Newcastle next year in November. I bet your town is very excited about it.
@leestevo Can't see how that is going to work, you can't park in Newcastle now, so God knows what it is going to be like if it moves from Sydney to Newcastle. I bet the residents of Newcastle won't be too pleased about it. You should have heard the outcry when the station closed.
Glad you managed to finally get a clear shot of it, it's interesting to see it like this. It's quite colourful, I am not sure what the artist is trying to say or project in the work though...
