Reflections Flipped by onewing

Reflections Flipped

I posted this photo yesterday and Sue @suesouthwood and Joyce @thistle wondered what it would look like flipped, so here it is.

Also it made Beryl @beryl a bit dizzy first thing in the morning in the UK, so here is the Northern Hemisphere version Beryl.

I have flipped reflection photos before but this one I wasn't sure about how it would look flipped, so what do you think. I think I prefer the original one posted yesterday.

Here are links to two previous reflection photos that I flipped.

I think both of these work, but I am not sure about today's photo, it doesn't really work for me.

Today's photo is for you Sue @suesouthwood Joyce @thistle and Beryl @beryl what do you think.

Great! I thought it would look good:-)

I prefer yesterday's version. This one makes me feel like the boats are on top of the houses.

Or a shaky sailor.

Thank you for indulging us in the northern hemisphere -- my morning brain can cope with this !! and the shaky mast and line looks like it has been drawn by a child who has not mastered to draw straight lines yet !!

Looks good, I do prefer the original but I do love your flipped reflections such a good idea must try it one day :-)

@365projectorgjenfurj I agree. It does look a bit bottom heavy for me.
January 17th, 2017
@beryl glad to hear that this one is better for your early morning brain.

Sue
Thanks for indulging us Babs. I do prefer this one as my mind can make more sense of it. All a matter of personal preference I guess!
January 17th, 2017
I love this, so cool to see the upright ripply masts :)
January 17th, 2017
@suesouthwood That's OK Sue. I think this way up it would have looked better if I'd have cropped some of the boat from the bottom. I do like doing flipped reflections, they are fun.

Interesting exercise and it looks great, but I do feel a little queezy looking at it:(
January 17th, 2017
Not my cup of tea.

January 17th, 2017
Even though I'm in the UK, it's this one that made me dizzy! Looks great but I think I prefer the shot from yesterday.
January 17th, 2017

January 17th, 2017
Yeah I agree with you Babs. The other 2 work fine but this one doesn't quite make it.
January 17th, 2017

I think I prefer yesterdays, but this is still a great image and a neat idea.
January 17th, 2017
Well done!
January 17th, 2017

Wow love flipped reflections!
January 18th, 2017
this looks great! good idea
January 18th, 2017
Yayy, love it. More fun flipped in my book.
January 18th, 2017
I love flipped photos and do prefer this one. I think I like them because you have to take a minute to realize that the shot really is a reflection and really is flipped. Something about making people stop and study the photo more closely seems meaningful to me for some reason.
January 18th, 2017
Lovely reflections...Fav
January 18th, 2017
very cool flipped reflection!
January 18th, 2017
I quite like this one.
January 18th, 2017
I love the flipped version! The other shot was nice, but I think with the image reversed it really makes you look closer.
January 19th, 2017
Very clever!
