Sydney Little Planet by onewing

Sydney Little Planet

I haven't got much opportunity to take photos at the moment due to follow up medical appointments and hospital tests after day surgery on Friday. So while I was forced to stay at home over the weekend I thought I would have a play with some old photos and create a few 'Little Planet' scenes. I will post them over the next few days.

I seem to have a bit of a circles theme going too don't I.

For those who are interested, here is a link as to how it is done. so easy.

@beryl @gigiflower @pcoulson thanks. I feel fine, just got to get things checked out every couple of years. I have an appointment with my GP tomorrow and then for blood tests and back to the hospital on Wednesday for more investigation tests. I then have to go back to see my surgeon in April to get all the results and see where to go from there.

March 6th, 2017
you made a very good choice of initial photo for this technique and it has resulted in a very complex but exciting image..
March 6th, 2017
I was inspired to try after seeing this Babs - not a patch on yours and ended up in the bin!

This technique doesn't work with every picture you have to select the right one, but it is fun when it works.

@hermann thanks Sal. Yes I am fine. I will email you later in the week when I get more time.
March 6th, 2017
@rookynook It is so easy and quick to do, but you have to chose the right picture. Here is the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rbTE71PMYE

@jmdspeedy I think the original photo is of Kirribilli in the foreground and the high rises of North Sydney in the distance. Neutral Bay is just off to the right of the original picture I believe. I took this photo when we were sailing back into Sydney after a cruise in New Zealand.
March 6th, 2017
@jorlam Thanks Jorlam. I was pleased with the result here.

@jackie8 You have to pick the right picture Jackie. I have binned a few in the past. You just need to make sure that the left and right of the original pictures are at the same height and crop it to match. If you include water like I have, just clone out any mismatch between the left and right as it won't show in the final image. Hope that has helped.
Here is the original image for this one. http://365project.org/onewing/365/2016-02-28
Give it another go, it is fun.
March 6th, 2017
I really like this effect, but sadly I don't have photo shop. Oh well! Looking forward to the series.

It has become a bit like of a crown - and maybe that is what the process hopes to result in! Great to see on PP!
