Newcastle Cathedral by onewing

Newcastle Cathedral

Another busy day here. David was out this morning on a dolphin watch. Luckily the thunder storm predicted didn't happen while he was out on the water because he isn't a very good sailor.

The storm has passed now and the computers are back on.

I have been out at my regular girlie lunch with friends today. The girlie lunch lasts a few hours so most of the day has been written off with that.

David is out again this evening, so I am having a quiet night.

I took some photos in Newcastle a few weeks ago and I thought I would post some of the buildings over the next couple of days and give them a bit of a seeing to.

Here is Newcastle Cathedral. It is a lovely building and stands proud up on the hill in the city.

Ooh it's one of those black board things you scratch to get the silver underneath to show the picture wotsits! At least that is what it reminds me of :) Love those! This is interesting.

Love this! I hope that David isn't reading this, or in case he is, hope that he isn't super sensitive about your citing his sailing skills. I hope that he's able to improve as a sailor. ;-)

@casablanca glad you liked it, I agree your description is perfect, that was what I was aiming for.

@stray_shooter David's sailing skills aren't going to improve now. Luckily the dolphin watch boat stayed within the bay area and not out through The Heads into the ocean proper. He would have been a stretcher case if that had happened. The water on the bay was like a millpond yesterday too, so he is a bit of a softie really.
